Vision West ND event held in Minot

A public forum was held last week by Vision West ND to address quality of life and economic issues throughout oil boom areas of the state. The meeting took place in Minot and had about 30 people attending representing both long-time residents and newcomers. Vision West is a consortium of 19 entities including oil and gas producing counties, Three Affiliated Tribes, education and energy associations. Topics discussed included traffic, housing, crime and child care. Vision West ND is going to hold a forum on Oct. 2 in Bismarck to discuss child care issues.
