Pipeline company won’t be penalized
Earlier this month, a permit application was filed with the North Dakota Public Service Commission (PSC) for a pipeline that was built in 2009. The company, Hiland Operating LLC, said that they were not aware that they needed a permit for the pipeline, which is 6.5 miles in length. This past week the PSC decided that the company would not be penalized for building the pipeline without a permit since they did report it and it was constructed in compliance with PSC regulations.
