Pipeline bills passed in Legislature

Two bills have passed the North Dakota Legislature to meet the infrastructure demands of installing new pipeline. One of the bills allows a mapping database to track the pipelines and also to increase a fund for reclamation of oil pipelines and spills. Another bill allows companies to make small deviations during pipeline construction, per landowner’s request, without filing additional permits. See the KFYR-TV story.
