Oil industry shakes off April cold to set another record

ND oil production rose in April to hit another all-time high record despite cold temperatures and a late winter storm. The weather also delayed fracking on more than 475 new wells that were set to start at the end of April. In addition, the North Dakota Pipeline Authority said that April was also a productive month for natural gas, and 185 new wells were connected to natural gas lines, setting a new record.
