Oil boom issues easing

A meeting between the Fargo Forum’s editorial board and a group from the petroleum industry, revealed that there’s marked  progress around the state in housing and road improvements. Steve McNally of Hess Corporation said that their company has released its hold on apartments and hotel rooms because of the number of hotel rooms being built. Ron Ness, president of the North Dakota Petroleum Council, reported on a recent survey of 600 North Dakotans showed a majority of North Dakota residents thought the state was “headed in the right direction.” Read the article in the Forum (articles locked after one week and may require registration).
