North Dakota Tops in GDP
The state of North Dakota again leads in the nation in gross domestic product (GPD) growth, seeing a 9.7 percent increase last year, according to the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA). This is the fourth year in a row that North Dakota has led the country in economic growth, with an average annual growth rate of 12 percent, compared to the nation’s 2 percent growth rate.
