North Dakota moves up in best state for business ranking

Forbes magazine recently named North Dakota the second best state in the nation for doing business, with only Virginia having better numbers. Al Anderson, commerce commissioner with the North Dakota Dept. of Commerce said that the new ranking “…tells us that the policies that we have – and the strategies that we are using – are working to grow and diversify our economy.” North Dakota was listed as No. 3 for business in 2012.
