North Dakota leaders plan summit
Senators Kent Conrad and John Hoeven and Governor Jack Dalrymple have announced their partnership in the 2012 Renewable Energy Action Summit on June 25th at Bismarck State College. The group is bringing in keynote speakers from the U.S. Department of Energy National Renewable Energy Laboratory and Pew Environment Group to talk about national renewable energy research and opportunities for expanded development for a clean energy economy. Four panel discussions will focus on wind, geothermal, ethanol and biomass sectors, and topics in long-term development, sustainability and legislative issues.
