No oil waste decision by McLean County zoners

The McLean County Planning and Zoning Commission took no action on a proposed oil field waste landfill requested by Great River Energy (GRE). The area planned for the waste landfill has been used by GRE for a coal ash pit, and they have plans to improve the landfill before it would be used for any new purpose. The discussion will be brought to the county commission in July. See the full article in the Bismarck Tribune.
