Next Keystone XL decision with Neb. Governor

The Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality submitted a report to the governor stating that the proposed reroute of TransCanada’s Keystone XL avoids the sensitive ecological areas of the state. The Nebraska governor has 30 days to review the report and decide whether to support the reroute. The U.S. State Department is working on its own environmental assessment which will impact the next and final decision needed from the Obama administration on the fate of the pipeline.
