New transmission lines will improve electric reliability

A new transmission line will soon be in place, bringing electricity from Milbank, South Dakota, to the Ellendale, North Dakota, area. Ten miles of the new line would be inside N.D., and the cost will be approximately $52 million for that segment. The completed transmission line will be 340 miles long and will cost $340 million.
