New refinery decision possible in two months
MDU Resources Group anticipates a decision on whether to move forward with a proposed refinery in the next two months. The $325-million project would produce 10,000 barrels of diesel and kerosene per day and employ 100 people. An official with MDU Resources said that they are waiting for all studies to come back to make the decision. Public meetings are planned on May 30th in South Heart and May 31 in Dickinson.
