New power line being debated in Wisconsin

An application for a new power line has been filed in Wisconsin by Xcel Energy and American Transmission Co. The new line would improve access to more renewable energy. The proposed line has two route options, and could potentially be more than 180 miles long and cost more than $550 million.  To learn more, see the Star Tribune.
