NDARE releases renewable study results

The North Dakota Alliance for Renewable Energy (NDARE) released results this week from a study geared at the economic value of renewable energy in North Dakota. The study showed more than $1.2 billion in annual economic activity in the state, thanks in part to North Dakota’s robust ethanol and wind industry sectors. Two of the challenges to the renewable sector in North Dakota, as noted by the study, were the uncertainties with the wind energy production tax credit and the “blend wall” for ethanol production.
