Hiland 462-mile pipeline proposed

Hiland Crude, a subsidiary of Oklahoma-based Hiland Partners, has proposed a $300 million pipeline capable of up to 100,000 barrels of crude oil per day that would connect Dore, N.D., to Guernsey, Wyo. The community of Dore sits near the Montana-North Dakota border, and the pipeline would run about 230-250 miles before meeting up with an existing line. The proposed pipeline is a 12-inch line that would be operational by August 2014. See the article in the Bismarck Tribune.
