Flare gas dropping

The North Dakota Department of Mineral Resources released statistics that show natural gas flaring is dropping as crude production rises. October flaring was at 30 percent, down from a record high of 36 percent in September 2011. The drop is due to new natural gas processing plants and gathering systems coming online to capture the gas. Read the article in the Minot Daily News.
