First-time dip in oil production in more than a year
According to the N.D. Department of Mineral Resources, winter weather contributed to a 2 percent decline for November 2012 oil production numbers. This was the first dip in 19 months, producing 733,078 barrels of oil per day throughout the month. A winter storm caused a shut down of operations and slowed truck traffic for a few days.
