Ethane gas pipeline to be built in North Dakota

A new pipeline will soon be bringing up to 60,000 barrels of ethane gas from North Dakota to Alberta, Canada. The Vantage Pipeline is already under construction in Canada, and 80 miles will be constructed in North Dakota. The ethane will be used by Canadian plastics manufacturers and will be used to supplement a current supply shortage. The pipeline will be 430 miles long and should be in use by the end of 2013.
