Dakota Express Pipeline could move 250,000 bpd of Bakken crude
Koch Pipeline Co. L.P. announced plans to explore the possibility of moving Bakken-crude by pipleine to Illinois and then on to the East Coast. The Dakota Express Pipeline project would be able to move up to 250,000 barrels of crude per day and would offer another alternative to moving oil by rail. The first phase of the project is set to begin in July. The company currently maintains over 4,000 miles of pipeline in six states.
