Crude oil pipeline approved for construction
A new 38-mile crude oil pipeline was recently approved by the North Dakota Public Service Commission (PSC), and will stretch from a pumping facility near Killdeer to an existing Bakken Oil Express rail facility west of Dickinson. Construction on the new pipeline is expected to take 12-14 weeks, and will cost close to $14 million. When completed, the PSC estimates that it will be capable of moving 165,000 barrels of oil per day. Read more from the Bismarck Tribune.
