County Commission action approved by ND Supreme Court
The North Dakota Supreme Court ruled this week that the Stark County Commission’s approval of land-use for a coal mine was proper action. Great Northern Project Development LP, out of Houston, Tex., hopes to develop 8,000 acres near South Heart, N.D., for a coal mine, gasification factory and electric power plant.
