Corn drying back on schedule
A recent propane shortage delayed corn drying across North Dakota. The shortage was caused by a surge of corn harvesting, which caused Dakota Plains Cooperative of Valley City, to ration propane supplies to its customers. This was the first time in two years that this type of issue occurred, as farmers were previously able to get by with very little drying. The corn currently being harvest is between 18 to 22 percent moisture. Read more from Agweek.com.
