ConocoPhillips sells non-Bakken assets
ConocoPhillips is selling 86,000 net acres in North Dakota and Montana to a subsidiary of Denbury Resources for $1.05 billion. Denbury, a Texas-based company, says it will be focusing on carbon dioxide enhanced oil recovery. ConocoPhillips still retains its 626,000 acres of Bakken Formation assets.
