3,000-person crew camp proposed in Dickinson
Austin, Texas-based Accommodate International, has proposed a new crew camp for oil field workers in Dickinson that could house up to 3,000 workers. If approved, it would take about two years to be complete. The facility will be made up of four buildings, each three or four stories high. It will be a temporary structure of steel, modular units that can be taken apart and moved once they’re no longer needed. The issue will be on the agenda for Dickinson’s May 16th Planning and Zoning meeting. See the Dickinson Press story on the proposed crew camp.
