Small Wind

small wind
'Small wind' is a term used to describe wind turbines that are used to generate electricity on a non-commercial scale for farms, homes and small businesses.  Small wind turbines have rated capacities of 100 kw or less.  Two North Dakota companies - GR8 Country Wind Power and Posilock Puller - are working in the area of small wind.
